What are your thoughts about UBI(Universal Basic Income)?

Agree with Lucie. I will be more explicit about the govt implementation… it can be corrupted depending on who wins an election. The scariest part is that once people become dependent on it, the govt can gradually increase requirements to receive it which may seem more and more dystopian…

Since most people spend most of their income on Rent, most UBI will likely flow directly to landlords.
But Rent is zero when Land is owner-occupied.
So wouldn't it make more sense for a government to use it's massive purchasing power to buy Land without debt and then distribute that Land ownership to the people who need it - to thereby permanently eliminate that leak of value?

UBI is a very broad concept. It’s not a one size fits all solution. It can be used in both right wing and left wing politics. Much depends on institutional and political context, economic resilience of a region or country, and a shift in the development of economic sectors. Next to many contextual factors, there’s a rather moral (ideological) question: does work bring you money or does money bring you (to) work?
It’s a catch22 , but depending on your view on what it is to be human, people adhere to one or the other approach.
So I would invite you to be more precise in your question....
