Open Build Service?

What do you think about using http://openbuildservice.org/ to package up Diaspora easily for different distributions that might not have packaging teams?

I'm thinking we first need some packaging to be successful and then we can automate it - seems like the right way to go without knowing too much about this?

Agreed, I'm just wondering if this is something that we can use to make packaging more straightforward, especially in regards to getting tagged releases packaged up for different systems.
