what are egg timers, why do we need to talk about them? the same question applies to super-sized printers. If it is 80s technology I guess it would suck and ALTs could avoid using it and/or learn at their schools. Avoid?

Some ALTs have next to nothing, and even you do have lots of tech, sometimes it's nice to use the older things.

Ah, dinosaur tech.... Nice title! ;)
I think this section should be brief... but there are some really good/useful ideas here. I wish we had time to explore this (like games using handheld whiteboards!!).
And do you guys actually have access to super-size printers? Cool idea.

"Max" I agree. This should be brief. I dont know what egg timers are nor super-sized printers.

When I say super-sized printers I mean the printers that can blow up an A4 sized sheet of paper.
Basically if you want to print anything big, these are your best friends.
Egg timers likewise are something you can add to activities (think like pass the parcel, except its an egg timer, and you dont want it to go off when you're holding it)
basically just list of a bunch of small things you can do with 'no' technology.

I think we can just mention it. I personally would prefer to focus on technology if that makes sense... If some ALTs have no technology then they maybe they can go to the workshop on lesson planning. Perhaps they can mimic their JETs? I think we need to provide heaps of info on whats available out there that can be used if you have some decent equipments... what do you reckon? all g if you disagree. ;)

btw where is James?

i like this section because every JET will have access to OR can buy most of these things cheaply.
While I like the idea of super-size printers, I don't think we can focus on it any more than a passing comment. Too few schools will have this and JETs will have to learn to use it from the JTEs anyway.
Should still be a bullet point, but not focused on.
With Egg Timers, we can probably just cover this under cell phone usage (as all iPhones or Androids have a built in timing app). Though, a physical egg timer is cute.
