Hi I am Fiona and I live in Telford, Shropshire. I am in a group who is trying to set up a Climate Emergency Centre for our town and I have a new job starting which is to implement a climate action plan in South Shropshire. I think People's assemblies will be important for both those these roles to engage people in sharing ideas about what is needed to help us get to net zero carbon in our local communities.

Heya, What a great start to what I hope will be an excellent course... Looking forward to getting to know everyone over the coming weeks. My name is Monica, I will more than likely be attending the Monday night sessions although I may also drop into a couple of Thursday mornings when I have an evening meeting on the Mondays. I am based in Newcastle under Lyme, (the Staffordshire Newcastle not the wayyy ayyyy man in tha north north!) :-)

Hi everyone. Carol from Eastbourne here. I was on today's introduction. The Eastbourne Climate Coalition is setting up a Climate Emergency Centre. This course will really help.

Hey all from across the channel where the EU headquarters sits, just finished rewatching the first intro module. Looking forward to sharing and learning from experiences and stories here.

It's taken me a bit of time to get here, but better later than never. I'm based in the Peak District and I'm studying for an MSc in Social Justice and Community Action. I'm a member of my local XR group, but it's very small and isn't growing so I'm looking at other ways to build communities and build momentum around social justice and climate change. I've enjoyed learning along with you all and look forward to learning even more.
