MPs to lobby over People's Vote
Following SW activists meeting, I have been thinking about which other constituencies we could help to lobby their MPs seeing as with Wera there is no need and JRM no hope. For further discussion;
Michelle Donelan – Chippenham and County (BOA, Melksham, Corsham, Chippenham)
Andrew Murrison – South West Wiltshire (Trowbridge)
David Warburton – Somerton and Frome (Frome) – joint action with EM Mendip
James Heappey – Wells – joint action with EM Mendip
There appear to be no pro-EU groups local to these – apart from EU Mendip
OB have Bristol and North Somerset, EM have Somerset & Dorset and Swindon
We could hook up with Devizes for Europe but maybe a bit far?

It would be to encourage their constituents to write to their MP and sign up to the People’s Vote website. I know MPs may not read all their letters but they also can’t ignore them. We could also do some door surveys which will generate a report for the MP about views on Brexit in their constituency to consider.

I am posting here also the proposal I posted on the steering group thread on Sunday. Please try to read it before the strategy meeting on Thursday.

What did you have in mind? If you write to an MP other than yours (and they always ask for a full address) you will get the answer that it is against protocol / convention to deal with constituents from other constituencies. And I think it would be the admin team answering so the MP wouldn't even know that there had been a letter or whatever ...
