#OperationNomNom
We have kitchens! One church on Thursday and Friday, another church on Saturday and Sunday! We have Chef Les! We have a water team forming! We have veggies coming on Saturday; lentils (~70 lbs) and back-up water coming from Idaho (and maybe some other good stuff)!

Our first #operationNomNom meal was a great success! 99Rise was planning to buy Subway Sandwiches for their activist training session, but instead enjoyed a fresh mostly-organic mostly-free Food Not Bombs-style lunch. For our next trick, we'll be making tomato sauce from the abundance of tomatoes generously donated by Tutti Frutti farms in Lompoc and Beylik Farms in Santa Paula. Does anyone know how to make tomato sauce?

You are kidding, right? We are amused.
Will you be able to prepare something for the organizers’/logistics meeting after the Antiracism Training on Wednesday? The training ends about 6 p.m., we have the space until midnight, and it would be great to not have to split up to nourish ourselves, or to spend a lot on take-out, if you could do another one of those lunches! @les, your thoughts?

BTW, glad the meal was a success!

Yes we found a place to stay. We're staying with Laura of 99Rise. We still need kitchen space and cooks.
