Once we get land and people ready to move, what things would people need to bring?

We would obviously need cloths, but how are we organizing things like food and shelter. Because some people might be coming with only a back pack for example, so they might be able to bring a tent, but not a months supply of food till we get our own food growing. And what other things would people be bringing? Some people might bring tools, or stuff for experimenting. Some might bring solar panels or a way to make and clean water. I think we would need to organize this before we get out there are realize we have no food or something. "SHIT, did anyone bring ketchup?" haha :) anyway any ideas?

I would say the most valuable thing you can bring to compensate for lack of other things, are your skills, so build as many as you can. I plan on bringing (and sending ahead of me,) tools, as that is what I seem to do best, build and design tool :)

Exactly the most important resource is people themselves, and common sense goes a long way if a person doesn't have an education or trade, determination and the power of believing in something are also really great tools.

We would need to immediately erecting some temporary shelter and workshop. We should start growing outdoors plants as soon as possible (given the right season). I will bring whatever I can including my 3D printer.

Tents and RV's should work for temporary shelter, but I don't know how comfortable they would be in that environment, does anyone know what it's like there? I mean I do lots of camping but never in a place with that kind of climate. The growing food is essential, if anyone is able to, you could grow a little bit before we move and bring it with you, to save time. 3D printer, that's cool, I've always wanted to see one of those.

I have a CNC mill and lathe, and when I am moving to set up a place, I will be bringing a full lab of equipment, so that I can use all the chemical and energy knowledge I have been accumulating and gaining experience in using :)

People only need bring themselves and a positive attitude at the bare minimum, but I wouldn't, I plan on bringing my own camper, old truck, motorcycles, lots of tools, making it as easy to transition as possible. I would recommend people bring at least $300 for personal expenses if nothing else, if everyone came with nothing but a backpack things probably wouldn't last long.
