Location of the next Ouishare Summit in August

In terms of dates, we should also keep in mind our discussion before this last summit which made it seem like many people were in favor of the summit taking place in late August or early September.

Thank you for proposing Ruxandra. I think the first thing before engaging is to find a place, do you have ideas ?
I would prefer early september. We had a discussion about the date few months ago and we moved the dates of summer summit to end of August, early september.

Hmm, looks like I missed to add my thumb up here. Concerning date is the doodle out already? Hope I didn't miss that one.
(September (05.-19.09) would be great indeed - or end of August - There is also the Degrowth conference in Budapest from 30.08.-03.09 some of us going there so relating them would also be great making up for a nice stay in Central/Southeastern Europe :).

Hello all. Sorry for the delay, I took some time to discuss with the local community + space, hostel etc., and also had some personal stuff to clear.
As you all suggested end of August, beginning of September is the best, therefore I suggest 4 dates (two in August ) and two in September, with check-in on Thursday and check-out on Sunday. Just FYI: I am likely not to be availalbe any of the options because I will be in New Zealand, so you don't need to take my calender into account :)

Since I'm in Europe for the summer, my visa won't allow that I stay during autumn. Sorry, everyone, but you know that my whole thing is about being present online, so I'm alive :)

@ruxandracreosteanu could we try to move forward with a decision on when the summit is asap? Otherwise you won't be able to communicate the date and it will be even more difficult for people to fit it in their calenders.

Hi all, thanks for filling in the doodle. The final dates for the Ouishare Summit in Romania is the weekend of 15th to the 18th of September, so please book your dates in your calendars. We are still looking for people motivated to support us with the organization of the Summit, especially regarding the program, so please ping me on slack, or send me an email.
