I agree on the principle, but there are things that must be done for regular pay.

There's ways to circumvent the VAT number problem (e.g. OMV pays Lindev, Lindev pays TPG the same amount).
At least as far as .ch is concerned, there is no VAT on services provided outside the country.

TPG is doing a fine job, so no double thoughts about the decision. But I agree with Raph's free time comment.

I'm going to vote no. Not because I have anything against TPG, but because we need to have clear direction in what we are doing and where we are going, and not be so quick to throw out a vote without first having a full discussion.

@raphaeljadot I suggest to discuss technical details out of public, directly with TPG

How about more details.

@waynesallee please initiate an email on council mailing list with all your concerns, it's important to get clear on all this.

We need to try to have better clarity in what we are voting for. And the voting has in my opinion been coming a bit to quick to not allow discussion, and decision on what we want to vote on.

2 things:
We need an identification number of the company, to have the VAT specified (or a line explaining why there is no VAT, such as for entrepreneurs in France) and TPG should not be member of the Association (or only consultative member, with no voice)
If TPG can't have a company number identification, then we can hire him as an employee (I started to ask informations about this) or use an intermediate company such as eLance or oDesk.
