I feel all this is a process and experiment, so I'd like to mash it up with my own engoing experiments to propose to build something(s) together as an outcome result of beingfed by the similar objective created by this microsolidarity spark
How would you format a meeting?

When is the next meeting? x
Ronen Hirsch Thu 7 May 2020 5:09PM
yes, details of the meeting tomorrow are at the top of the impressions thread from the previous meeting https://www.loomio.org/d/nRUtcQrE/virtual-meetup-10-4-2020-impressions and @Josh Fairhead has offered to host the call.

I had a vague sense that we may be meeting tomorrow. Did I imagine that. Is someone hosting something somewhere?
Rashid Owoyele Fri 10 Apr 2020 2:08PM
So... I am ready to log-in, but can't decipher the link location. Are we up and running somewhere?
Josh Fairhead Fri 8 May 2020 11:21AM
Woops! I thought it was as 2pm - trying to find the link now if you see this...
Nobody in here: https://meet.jit.si/microsolidarity-meetup
2Pm GMT = 4pm CET though so seems I'm actually early... but thats this thread... not this one which says 13:00UTC (which is 3pm CET): https://www.loomio.org/d/nRUtcQrE/virtual-meetup-10-4-2020-impressions
So were still all good and I'm just lost in the wrong thread...
Ronen Hirsch Fri 10 Apr 2020 12:49PM
Indeed I was assuming that GMT = UK = Europe - 1 = call is in 10 minutes
James Lewis Fri 10 Apr 2020 12:32PM
Timezone check.
I note that Ronen specified 'GMT' time zone, which can be a bit problematic as people can associate that with 'UK time'. GMT is not currently the time used in the UK as we're now on daylight savings time (BST), which is one hour later.
People are used to the UK being one hour behind Europe, but currently GMT is 2 hours behind.
Can someone please clarify if the intention was 'UK time' or 'GMT'?
To avoid, use wording like 'UK time' or 'London time', or if you want to be specific 'UTC' is better for a non-colonial time zone ;-)

Does anyone object to having future online meetups for Microsolidarity promoted in the Open App Ecosystem group? I set up a thread there for promoting relevant meetups.
