Deactivate NatGat Loomio Planning Group
Now that the planning is over deactivate the group. Otherwise, people will stay on and create "hierarchy". This was a one event planning group and keeping it up for non-productive infighting would be a mistake
If anyone wants to form a new group for next year they can start off fresh.

A new group can form their own Loomio and platforms if they want to plan another national gathering

i wouldn't say i'm happy to let the group decide without me, i'd say, the group can decide without me. i gave my 2 cents and as it seems everyone here has worked together before, who am i to say what you do as a group? i'm not in the cliche.

Given Loomio’s response, and the need for continuity, I would say that we should leave this group active, limited to NatGat planning, and basically let it be dormant until a new NatGat is on the horizon. The planning group has already disbanded.

This site is an historical record of NatGat planning and should remain accessible.

The site cannot be deactivated without losing content. This group now needs a reason for being and a name change

Don't deactivate ONGOG - leave for next natgat planning.
If this group is evolving into a general national group, create a new loomio group.

I wrote to Loomio to see if the information will still be available after deactivation.

I think that deactivating the group is fine, as long as what was posted -- from the time we started using until through the completion of the planning effort on Wednesday, Aug 27) -- can still be accessed in the future. I don't think that what occurred on Loomio should simply disappear as if it never happened.
