Salon des Maires et Collectivités Locales - a yearly fair for Mayors and local authorities in France. Paris, 19-21 November 2019.

Hello lovely peers!

This is to inform you of a project we are currently working on in France, which may have a chance to become more international next year!
Following Taoufik’s participation in a session last year, Ouishare was asked to be involved in a new space – “Le Lab Ville de Demain” (City of the Future Lab https://www.salondesmaires.com/visiter/nouveautes-2019/) – put in place during the 2019 edition of the main yearly fair for mayors and local authorities in France, which runs in parallel to the yearly congress of Mayors.

The future ambition for the fair is to become more experimental, with a window towards an international audience as well. This year we are working on a small-scale experiment to “give a taste” of what Ouishare could bring in terms of programme and Ouishare spirit.
The overall concept for the lab is “third places” and we try to "copy" such a place in the area of the Lab (with a welcoming desk, chill area, work area and a space for debate and conferences).

Considering the very short time to prepare, we decided to go for existing contents to present during the three half-days of programme we were allocated. You can access the rough draft programme here (in French).

While I am coordinating the project, the core team working on the programme and concept is Taoufik, Ghislain, Yann, Samuel C and Clothilde.
