JEOD special issue on "Cooperatives on the edge of societal challenges"

The Journal of Entrepreneurial and Organizational Diversity (JEOD) has launched a call for papers for a special issue on "Cooperatives on the edge of societal challenges". Guest editors are Ermanno Tortia, Paola Raffaelli and Marco Lomuscio and publication is expected for October-December 2024. We call for papers which investigate societal challenges through cooperative lenses. This special issue addresses cutting-edge research which emphasises how cooperative organisations mitigate the consequences of the ongoing economic, financial and climate crises. Papers should discuss, above all, the potential of cooperatives to support the production of social innovations, the capacity of cooperatives to adapt and be resilient to new socio-economic conditions and challenges, and the transformative social role of cooperatives in the field of cooperative conversions and worker takeovers.
