STEAM Education & Job Training
The education of the next generation is what defines civilization. The education of our workforce is the greatest investment we can make in ourselves. The education and training needed to compete in the global job market has shifted. To prepare our workforce, we need to ensure students have a strong background in mathematics, engineering, and science related fields. STEM to STEAM should become the new standard for public schools across the nation. This isn't just about technology - there are a substantial amount of creative jobs that contribute over $1 billion of investment into the Commonwealth each year. We support encouraging schools to emphasize STEAM in their curriculums.
