It would be great to meet up and acknowledge everyones hard work that they put in all year and celebrate what has been done so far with so many apps nearly finished. Would it exclude people if we met somewhere like Slatterys as a social meetup?

Something like Slatterys is probably the most workable. The number of people in there seems to vary greatly from one evening to the next, in my limited experience. Any idea of dates or days of the week?

Please note that a lot of people might not be on Dublin after 15th or 20th of December.

I agree with Ciaran and Peter's points. As Adam has noted, the earlier in December is better. We can keep it informal; people come and go depending on other commitments on the evening in question. So I would pick a date / venue and go with it.

Lastly, on behalf of health2Dublin, I would like to extend an invite to CFI members to the Health2Dublin social gathering on 3rd December in Cafe en Seine. Health2Dublin is all about innovation in healthcare and involves people from the broad healthcare and startup/sme sectors.

15th or 17th sound good to me – probably less crowded. And with kids off school from 19th, availability gets problematical.
Wouldn't say no to sponsorship.
Also, what time of evening? – is it a matter of getting people soon after they leave work, or?
