Subgroup 1: Short-course on Intellectual-Selfdefense
Proposal: Facilitating a short-course at D-town farm with community members in the Spring.
Goal: Develop inquiry-based ecology learning. In conjunction with facilitators, community members will propose issues, identify questions, construct small-group investigations, analyze data, and create new knowledge.

Planning: Identifying relevant community issues and developing relationships with community members during the Fall and Winter semesters. Following this, developing educational materials that addresses community interests.

Good idea. I think volunteering and working with Naim is a good way to get a sense of what the needs are of the community.

Maybe a good way to develop relationships with the community members is going to some of the farm workdays?
