I agree in general with the proposal - but think that by building a strong grassroots we will challenge organisations like this.
We don't need direct confrontation - at least not anymore. People know who we are.

I think negative aims are a waste of time and energy.

I'm not sure targeting IATEFL directly is a good use of our time.

I agree that it sounds negative and does not help to engage in dialogue with the various organisations.

As you all have said, our energy should go toward nurturing grassroots, horizontal movements instead of confronting IATEFL. We could re-word this idea the way Bill has suggested, just by way of saying how this group is distinct from other groups.

I think this is a good aim - but we risk dissipating our energy in confronting organisations.
But just by building strong grassroots organisations - this is already a challenge.
