I don't have much time outside of class to study/do essays. Its much easier for me to have any work/tests for a class to be done IN class.

This option opens the door to plagiarism. As a life-long supporter of academic honesty I cannot in good conscience support this method of assessment. Also, possibly inconvenient.

I know that some people come in late to class due to various reason - it might be due to work or family issue. So we can't just punish people who come in late and miss a few minutes of the test, it would be unfair to them.

I don't have access to use of a computer all of the time on weekends due to work hours, I feel that it would be better to take an in class exam. The exam can be something like 40 minutes long and even though some students are late to class the y would still have plenty of time to complete it.
