Important Announcement - Please Read

Hi guild mates, 

As of Oct 13, 2024, the PPAC board has officially suspended Mo’s membership. The suspension period is three months. This suspension removes keycard access to the guild hall, member communication platforms (Loomio, Slack, Whatsapp, email) and any privileges as a cooperative member. This decision is based on multiple formal member grievances and repeated attempts by the board and individual board members to engage him constructively over an extended period. If he wishes to re-engage with the guild after the suspension period, he has to submit an application as a pre-member. Please note that, although his cooperative membership is suspended, he still can attend public facing events that take place in the guild hall just like any other guest. 

In the coming weeks, we will update policy, procedures and community agreements to strengthen community safety and clarify standards for conduct, as well as address gaps and shortcomings that came up through this situation. We invite and encourage all members, especially stewarding members to take part in this process.
