Ban Judges from wearing Black Robes- bright or neutral colours only

@colindavies Hi Colin- we all seem to have very limited knowledge on the astrological/mythological symbolism used in our society these days - for example, Saturday, is a clear reference to the planet Saturn (as Sunday is to the Sun, and Monday to the Moon etc). Those above who state that my suggestions 'are ridiculous', only show their ignorance. Please feel free to research the facts I have stated and come back and reconsider the issue - which is this- lets stop accepting a Saturian based culture of death, letting killers go free while we lock up dope smokers. It is in fact a very important point/ issue- just expressed through the same symbolism these people use - and because we apparently don't understand it, it is allowed to continue. People need to be informed on this reality- before we can stop the culture of rape, death and violence in NZ- and the people above are ignorant and not of much help. If people were actually informed, or researched the facts above- they would get it. Cheers.

To the rest of us, black robes are something worn by the character on Sesame Street called the Count ( I think he is supposed to be a figurative representation of a neighbourhood pimp ).

The whole black and scarlet robes garb is just stuffy old inner temple, colonial, British empire getup from yesteryear. Its mostly ceremonial now, but the district, employment and high court judges have to wear them.

The issue though is, this is court etiquette, what place has the legislative branch of Government to interfere with the judicial branches stuffy old attire?

@cohenglass I agree entirely with your argument. However I dispute that judges wore black robes consistently prior to the late 17th century in England. Thus I find the connection to Saturn to be very tenuous. And I believe it became more of a tradition after the death of Queen Mary II when people wore black as a sign of mourning and also to please the King.
There has been for centuries a joke that the legal profession have never been ordered out of mourning and so this is why they wear black.
But anyhow I really think if you wish to change the color of judges robes it would be better to petition the judiciary, than to use legislation to change this. For similar sentiments as to what @terangikaiwhiriake suggested.

@colindavies cheers Colin - my facts are correct. Interestingly, it was around the 1700's that some of these occult groups combined, so there is some truth in what you say. The Bar Association for example is the British Son's of Ra (the Amun Ra Cult of Egypt). Its all occult symbolism my friend - please feel free to research what I have said, as it is fact. And we should seek to eradicate all occultism from our system of Governance. Including all influence from Baby London/Babylon. Its long time she fell. Not least her International Banking system, run from the privately owned City of London (the Temple). On second thought, rather than eliminating all symbolism from society, it'd be easier to eliminate society from everything. Shut down the Internet and shoot down all satellites that broadcast a signal to NZ. Move everyone to the North Island. Then, when babies are born, they are shipped to the South Island. There they raise themselves free of the shackles of symbolism and education. When they are 18 (presuming they make it there), they may return to the North Island, purified of the shackles of occultism.

@marcwhinery Hello Marc - personally I think it matters because more and more we see that those at the top of this occultist pyramid are what some would refer to as 'Satanic' in their beliefs, actions and morality. That is what concerns me. If you wanted one simple example, it would be that those running the current system we are in, used their political puppets, banks and media to lie to us all about "WMD's" in Iraq and went on to murder around 1.5 million people. Now @marcwhinery , I do not know you, and I do not judge- but I do think we should all be interested in addressing the issue that at the top of the food chain, are a bunch of war criminals who use occult symbolism and what I would refer to as almost 'Satanic' means to achieve their goals (which are more greed power and control). To me that is quite rational. What I am seeing in these responses however, is that there is a very large contingent of so called 'internet activists' who want 'change', but are actually quite comfortable with war crimes and genocide based on lies etc. Which is very concerning to me. Are you aware that Snow White and the 7 dwarfs is in fact a story of the Sun and the 7 visible planets and their astrological effects on earth? Many if not most kids stories are based on astrology- as is the "Britain" you also mention- London being Baby London/ the new Babylon. And Google Zodiac map Glastonbury to get a better understanding. It is a shortage of knowledge which is the problem - and thus why we see the world's (and NZ's) problems getting worse and worse.
