Group Name
At tonights meetup we discussed the idea of a name change as part of the refresh of the group. We felt it would be good to take this discussion onto Loomio.

Change the name to Kaka Group Closed Sun 5 Jul 2015 8:08PM
The current description is the Kaka Project Steering Group.
Reasons to consider a name change:
1. There isn't one 'Project'. Two potential projects have seed funding and a number are in the pipelines. Using the word project is slightly misleading going forward.
2. The term Steering Group has certain connotations and exceptions in terms of official overnight of Project Teams and in terms of formal representation.
3. Kaka Project Steering Group is quite long and sounds quite formal. We are hoping to refresh the group and make it more accessible to other members of the community to become more actively involved. Kaka Group keeps it simple, informal and reinforces the brand Kaka.
Why change now? The proposed Tattler article in the July issue is a good opportunity to do this and to invite people to come forward and join in at our next meeting under the brand Kaka Group.

it is not a biggie and does not necessitate new branding / logo/stationery / signage!

BCA website could say:
Kaka Group started in 2014 as a community-led planning project with the by-line - What we have, what we want, and what we might achieve together.
A couple of projects have feasibility funding from WCC – please join the conversation at http://bit.ly/1SX9dUm
