Comment Platform on the Blog

Our blog comments are either :

... a constant warzone against spam;
... a desert;
... a spamland;
... a place to complain that a link is down.

Meanwhile, the forums fulfill the same purpose, yet we're also complaining that there is a lack of new activity. Should it be time to remove the comments and point to the forums?

I guess there must be some kind of 'nostalgy' to look back at the very first comments. However, Nintendo Papercraft exists not for nostalgy, but to provide awesome Nintendo-related models and to be the core of an amazing community.
