Wiki accounts
Dear all OC members, we talked today about the use of various tools, among them, the wiki. I tried and successfully created an account directly there (it is not the same account that our microblogging or loomio account, it is a new one) and it comes with editing rights.
So yes, we can all create an account there directly. :)
The question that arises is, do we want anyone to create an account and edit our wiki, or do we restrict editing rights to members of social coop? (maybe that is already done in the background and I never knew it). Or the ones in the OC domain to only OC members?
I usually fall for the too open more than to the too close side, but it deserves a conscious decision.
Thanks a lot... :)

Thank you @Eduardo Mercovich , for exploring Wiki registration for us.
If I understand correctly, it works like Wikipedia? I agree with @Caitlin Waddick, @[email protected] , our task is to ensure that the content is up to date and reflects what has been decided at the various levels (by the members and the circles, where applicable).
To avoid reinventing the wheel, @Flancian do you have any more background info on our Wiki's history? Or who could give us some information on this? Thank you!

Who has access (editing permissions) to the Social.coop wiki right now? For a member or a nonmember, what is the difference between using the wiki and posting content to the Loomio platform?
Some of the current wiki content is out of date or aspirational. For example, you might click on something that opens to a document that says, "such and such will be located here." Or, you might click on something that describes information that is not true now. ...
