I have worked with him on Pirate Computing center in Pune and also in the debian/free software community. He was also an initial member of Pirate Party of India. I think he would be a good addition.

Only suneesh and praveen wants to continue as initial members. We should remove others from initial members sub group. They can apply again when they are ready.
Lets start afresh. We have pirates.org.in, so we'll call ourselves "Indian Pirates". We'll have new Initial Members like we did before. If you are not interested to continue, please step aside. There is no point in just having initial members without any activities.

All initial members from Pirate Movement (our earlier avatar) have completed 6 months as initial members and their membership has expired. Now the new initial members can accept permanent members from previous initial members or associate members who completed 6 months membership.

Ark got the two required supporters. He is now the first Permanent Member of Indian Pirates.
He has been an initial member since the start of the pirate movement. He has designed the previous logo of “pirate movement India” and has been part of many activities of indian pirates including the recent diaspora yatra. The logo, cartoon, flayer, stickers was designed by him. He also organised and spoke at many events in 2 districts.

I think my initial membership has completed six months, but I haven't done anything much enough to be a permanent member. What sort of a member does that make me? Do I have to request or just shut up and continue as is?
