At the moment we're all beavering away individually on our own preferred areas at our own pace. Could we discuss having a mapathon type event one evening in March where we all devote say an hour at the same time? We could publicise it via various online channels or local channels. We could even call it "Night School". We might even devote it to NI.

Saturday nights are usually for going out ;-) Unless you're proposing a daytime event? Clashes I think with an East Mids OSM event

Night School sounds great. Could run it all evening as a 1 hour window might be too restrictive for some. A review of Harry Wood's data shows that Wednesday is the best day (just), followed by Tuesday. Avoid Friday and Saturday as less people are engaged then.

I'd suggest aiming for Wednesday 2nd March but this clashes with Mappa Mercia meeting so would make it hard for a few Midlanders to participate. Maybe act quick and go for 24th February, or Tuesday 1st March.

I've asked Martijn if it's possible to get a MapRoulette challenge online to help with the number of mappers all focusing in a small region.

Tuesday March 1st. An evening of mapping schools for everyone- start when you like, finish when you get tired or have to something to watch on TV. Aim is to map as many schools as we can and see how may people we can involve

Day of the week makes little difference to me. 1/3 or 2/3 best. After that I am away for 4 days. Depending on how far I have progressed, I might devote the time to finishing off Anglesey or Wrexham.
