Two papers sent through from Les Kelly, both interesting reads.
The other is attached.

The following was recently received from Darren Peters as the result of his promise made at our inaugural Sunday meeting.
"Greetings James,
Maps in the mail to you.
70km of stoat/possum traps = 700 stoat traps and 700 possum traps (each at the same 100m site) and I’ve calculated 2000ha of rat control around the village which can be reduced to 1000ha = 1 rat device per ha = 1000 rat devices at least..."
We have some interesting times ahead of us!

While I really like having a coffee and enjoying the view at Le Cafe it is a shocking place to conduct a conversation let alone a meeting. Even though I'm getting deaf ( hearing impaired?) I don't think I was the only one really struggling to keep abreast of the conversation. Does someone have a suggestion for better conditions ?

Sorry, it was a bad choice and for some reason the sound effects were worse than normal. Interestingly Le Cafe is closed today to install sound proofing in the ceiling.
I would welcome other suggestions, but will check out Le Cafe again in a few days.

If it shows improvement then, Yay!

I completely agree that Le Caf, while a lovely place, has shocking acoustics for meetings. I'm happy to try other cafes :-)

Hi James, a change of plans for me means I won't be able to get to any meeting this week. Have to head north for a few days.
