Worker Tech event - Bristol
We are working with Bethnal Green Ventures (BGV), Tech4Good Bristol & Bath for a free event in Bristol (20th Nov) as part of BGV's WorkerTech series which is a discussion on the role of technology to improve access to skill development, career advice and the opportunities to progress at work, as well as increasing bargaining power and making flexibility beneficial for workers as well as employers.
The Bristol event will look at Worker Voice and Empowerment, exploring tech tools to help workers and unions create better and fairer working conditions for all. We’re interested in:
- how technology can be used to empower workers
- how digital tools help workers improve their prospects at work, for example by pooling information and organising
- how Trade Unions are using technology to improve their ability to support workers.
This is a free event run in partnership with Bethnal Green Ventures, Resolution Trust, Accenture Corporate Citizenship, Tech4GoodBristol and TechforGoodBath.
Any CoTech-ers suggest speakers / tools / people interested to come along?
Thanks!
Annie
