Cycle 3 Altar
A place for offerings that may inform the directon of cycle 3

The investment is good, the key is how good relating to the rest of the things we have on the plate. As it looks now, it will be a priority for me. I value the most the degree of innovation and experimentation I perceive.
I even felt that we were in the inauguration of the new cycle, as a natural flow. But I think that we should take those materials as more sacrificial offerings in the altar, like prefigurative of how we could proceed in the near future, even the 3rd cycle. They are the prove that the process is generative.
Glad you are cooling the urge to write it, so we do not lose focus for the third cycle. Yet is an interesting idea to put also in our sacrificial altar, concerning the next point.
I learned from our 1-1 that you are very sensitive on how difficult collaborative writing can be, (again, I imagine "scars" from the past). This is a critical issue in which we crashed in the present cycle. I would like to address it by experimenting and iterating ideas right away.
I think that inviting timely prospective collaborators to get at least feedback on the project, and eventually organically incorporate them with different degrees of commitment sounds like a clever move.
I would like to meet you as well, next sandbox time works for me. I would love to get from that gathering a quick update of our whereabouts, and a proposal from each of us on how to start to work in the generative process next cycle. A consensus on how we could start to work would be a blast, but not a must.

The time we are investing seems worthwhile to me, there's been no major "catastrophes" and the interaction feels pleasant with ever strengthening connection. I'm leaning towards a mentality of grow slow, fail fast. When you ask whats needed in the world that may be viable, I see a lot of things... and its typically these projects I direct my attention towards. Distributed (sibyl proof) Identity and portable social graphs are a big one for me; I think the latter is a primitive that can be used for soooo many things. I've got a ton of stuff in reserve e.g. this has been tested in workshop but could work great as a community signalling tool.
Yeah, I see the scaffold; in my head it looks something like a Pythagorean tree with different potential branches to follow. I figured it was a later thing but verbalised it as a placeholder ;)
Sounds great, I'd love to see some kind of stigmergic group description tool. I strongly feel that group articulation is a worthy effort. Words cast spells.
The suggestion makes sense to me; I think we have a sense of WHY, so it only feel natural to move to HOW before WHAT. In fact I'd be hesitant to do it any other way, only too often do groups jump straight into the what. Side note: at night I often look up at the big dipper/plough tilt my head on the side so it looks like a question mark and ask myself "why?" to see what emerges.
Again, sounds good to me. I'm open to a slow flow of potential collaborators peeking through the window and seeing if what were up to resonates with them. In related notes, last week when Maija asked me what I'd been up to for the day, I mentioned responding to this thread and sent it over to her. I wonder if the group might like to meet her sometime as well?
Feb 25th during sandbox time works for me and I look forward to seeing you all. Side note on timing though, I often find that the 3-5pm CET window is in the middle of daytime activities. While not necessary to contemplate right now, I wonder how we would feel about starting a little later like 5pm CET or so?
Much love!

Just noting here that though cycle 3 hasn't been officiated , it has, practically, begun.

Hi all, I read through the cards today and recorded myself reading them. I tried to do it in one long take but was interrupted about halfway through, so the recording is in two files. It's a rather large file so it may take a minute to download. The total time of my reading was about 50 minutes.

Thank you, I listened today.

I listened as well and loved it.

1) I've been reflecting on this as well recently, and a very strong "yes" is up for me here. I'm actually trying to reduce other work commitments in the short term with the idea that this may help open up more sustainable projects for me in the medium term, so I definitely want to commit some time to tending to this if there is a shared sense that it would be valuable.
2) Agree that this belongs "in-cycle", thanks for that very clear and useful language
3) I was also seeing/hearing this possibility inherent in the exercise you shared with us Ronen! I think this is definitely worth exploring together.
4) This makes very good sense to me. I feel enthusiastic and supportive of that as a frame for "cycle 3"
5) Very cool. I also have some ideas about partnerships/bridges/collaborative possibilities with others that I'd love to explore as this unfolds.
Sandbox time on 2/25 sounds good to me!
