Checking 1st meeting in 1030 hrs

Hi everyone.just to check -because I'm not sure and with very poor connection, and with a phone- we meet tomorrow at 1200 UTC, right?

Sorry to bother but I tried to find where did I read about the poll result and couldn't find it.

Also, what is our URL to meet?

If we have none yet, it could be https://meet.Mayfirst.Org/social-coop-organizing-circle

It can be opened with any Mayfirst account, but I'm ok with any other open videoconference option too. :)

We are meeting Tuesday, I believe, at 1200 UTC (5am my time, yikes!) Great to use Jitsi for this meeting. (In the community working group, we use BBB on meet.coop because of the handy shared notes feature.)

Thank you @Eduardo Mercovich, I was wondering the same thing. To be sure I've understood correctly, tomorrow at 12:00 UTC, all I have to do is connect to this link (or do I have to create a Jitsi account?)? I look forward to meeting you all tomorrow!

Yes. The only requirement (to stop previous abuse of the service) is to
open it with a Mayfirst account (mine or the one from social.coop).

Or we can use BBB, other option I'm very happy with. :)

On that front @Matt, is our previous agreement with Meet.Coop still
working? :)

Yes, social co-op is still a member of meet.coop.. To use Jitsi, the host has to login on mayfirst, but not the participants.
Looking forward to tomorrow. If you have time today, please read the original proposal and discussion on Loomio (sorry, I don't have the direct link handy).

Hopefully this doesn't add to the chaos but I set up a meet.coop room here https://socialcoop.meet.coop/kat-aiw-mpv-6vv I also revised the proposed agenda here: https://www.loomio.com/d/iobhRrMZ/oc-meetings-thread-when-and-how-to-meet-/16 and I added a skeleton of the same agenda to the shared notes for the meet.coop room.

I'll watch the Loomio threads tomorrow for the typical first meeting chaos and confusion! I'm really excited to finally meet everyone and work together at 1200 UTC 16 January 2024.
