Group invitations sent from members who have left
We have a group (actually a subgroup) of which I'm a coordinator and, rejuvenating that group, I'm re-sending group invitations to members to get them re-engaged. However, although I'm the only coordinator, the invitations don't appear to come from me: they seem to come from whoever originally invited each person. This means different people get invitations from different former coordinators, and all invitations are sent out from past coordinators who are no longer members of the group or even registered with Loomio. This is a big problem for us. Is there a solution please?

Hi @robshepherd, are you sending new invitations or clicking the resend button on existing invitations?
If it's a problem with resend invitation, then we can fix that behaviour, so the resender is identified as the inviter.

Hi @robertguthrie and thanks for the very prompt reply. I'm clicking the resend button.

Ok great. We'll fix this so it updates the inviter when you use this feature.

That's great. Thank you so much.

To give an example: A invited X to join the subgroup a year or more ago. Then B invited Y and Z to join the subgroup 9 months ago. Now A and B have left the subgroup and left Loomio, and C is running the subgroup. But when C sends out an invitation, X receives it from A and Y+Z receive it from B. This confuses X, Y and Z because they know A and B have left, and so assume the invitations are spam.
So why can't the invitations appear to come from C (ie me), the coordinator who is actually sending them out? Is this just a bug or am I doing something wrong?
