Updates

Hi all, we met with Aileen a journalist who will assist with media content and planning. Was a great discussion, thanks Aileen! I hope to meet soon. OASIS will be featured at Climate action week at the solutions summit Saturday Sept 28th with Draw Down To so it would be good to be prepared for the exposure. We have been told that Kristyn Wong Tam our new city councillor is preparing a motion for city council to require TCHC to commit to letting us work on the space beneath 325 Bleecker st where the abandoned swimming pool (aquaponics and possible other space functions..). We are meeting with her and city staff sept 23rd.
so we need a strategy for movement awareness raising, and for political impact during and after the election and re the City to build momentum and support for funding the world's first full cycle climate resilient healthy food hub... Can we meet/connect discuss next week? stay tuned for a date setting poll

So Roxy will be interviewed by CBC sunday morning show this weekend and is featuring oasis at a Un style youth summit as part of climate action week on the 23rd. OASIS will have a table with CMC at the drawdown solutions summit on the 28th at the end of climate week... it would be good to discuss our messaging and provide any feedback suggestions re the website in the next few days...
