There is a proposal from ESA to host the OGC-ASF-OSGeo Joint Code Sprint 2025 at Living Planet Symposium https://lps25.esa.int/ in Vienna (June 23-27 2025)
The Board has discussed through chat and we have identified the following:
The proposed dates are close to FOSS4G Europe (14-20 July 2025)
LPS will give OSGeo visibility to ~4000 participants in the event.
The OGC-ASF-OSGeo Joint Code Sprint 2025 was initially planned to happen in late May 2025, but there was not definite venue for it.
OGC and Apache have already agreed to attend LPS.
