I think being critical should be the basis for our actions (though maybe sentence is a bit vague).

I meant to say "places". Whatever place the group might think is better to promote the discussions we need to make things happen, I'm on board. The G+ was just a way to make a step forward and say "I'm onboard.".

To provide a safe and dynamic place for critical debate with the aim to promote change.
Change seems to be to me more powerful word than action. Discussing implies doing something (action) but not really promoting change.
