Good to hear this. It felt like there was some inertia from the PV campaign (maybe a perception rather than reality) and we really need a focus. Any idea when the date will be announced?

Agreed, and the loss of momentum has been mentioned at today's meeting. Date should hopefully be announced with in days rather than weeks.

Excellent, lets hope its announced soon so we can block book coaches. We have enough of a war chest to take a risk on block booking lots of coaches up front which will hopefully mean that we can get them all from a single company (Arleen?) and won't end up paying silly prices nearer the time!

Absolutely, I don't think we should go with unknown companies again. I will book every coach in their fleet at Arleen and possibly Filers as well! They worked well together in the past. We only need to pay deposits now until 7 days in advance, when we can cancel any un-sold coaches without incurring a charge.

Definitely the very first thing to do once the date is confirmed. Agree that if we block book at once we might get a better price. I think Arleen only have 6 vehicles that can be driven in London, so we will need another supplier if we want to make it bigger again.
