I am Sorry!
At IFMG they have classes all day long and the only time I have with the proficient students is at lunch time from 11 to 1 (p.m) . They arrive at 7 in the morning and go home at 5 (p.m) They can communicate fluently in English. nine in the morning I can't group them because they are from different courses and different buildings. We have been working with the goals with the other groups too, but the other big groups cannot keep up conversations fluently.

I am having problems in contacting people to interact. The students who are fluent to participate can interact only at lunch time.

I don't know if it is appropriate, but all my students are doing all the writing activities and I prepared this table informing some possibilities of Google hangout or skype sessions with Brazil. I put your time and ours in order to organize it.

Dear Elif, that's great. The time is perfect - because of the two-hour difference between Turkey and Poland. The only thing is we can't use Skype as the students have got chromebooks at school and Skype can't be installed on them. Instead we use Google Hangouts - possible on all devices. On Mondays I don't have classes. I have classes on Wednesday from 7 a.m to 4: 30 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays in the morning from 7 to 12.

I could interact with you and your students on Wednesday Feb 28. At 10:45 your time will be 14:45 it is possible for us. 12: will be 16: 45 students are going home.
Another possibility is next week Feb. 21 the same time.

Although either day still works, we have a different schedule on the 1st that would allow more time. We would need to begin at 10:40. On the 28th we would have about 1/2 an hour (class ends at 11:10 PST.

We are in Los Angeles, did I answer that email? Sorry. Also, what is your status on this project? We were working very hard on it, and did our own individual projects here but, due to time zones, were not able to skype with other schools. We have been doing other things, but can certainly return to it for the discussion. My class is Current Events so I have a lot of flexibility.

Mar. 1 at 10:40 PST (12:40 CST) would work well for us! Our students have chosen a Global Goal to focus on, wrote an expository paper on the problem they picked, are currently working in our community to help make an impact through volunteering, raising awareness, or donations. Next quarter they will write an argumentative paper trying to persuade others to join them in their endeavors. Next week they will spend time adding what they've learned to the Be the Change Slides for each Goal.
