Hi All

I'm heading up the overhaul of the Sharepoint Documents tab in our members site and wanted to open this thread for anyone that has any specific ideas or request.

some of the things I'm working on are:

  • General formatting, streamlining and indexing of all folders and documents

  • implementing a before document/ folder title, numbering system to make remotely navigating someone to a certain point in the documents tab easier i.e. coaching new members and/or directing someone in a Jedi to a document or folder

  • the above point will also aide in creating a docs folder library/ index/ guide/ tracking system

  • Form formatting and template creation and subsequent template libraries for all fillable documents (these will then be uploaded to Microsoft 365 apps as useable templates

  • Removal of duplicates/ removing certain documents like Jedi Harvests from the search index

I'm going to start this project in the Jedi's folder, specifically in the Human Jedi as I'm the lead and attend (almost) every one of these Jedi's, so I won't be screwing with anyone else's work before providing a preview in this Loomio group.

I will eventually be attending every Jedi as I get to each folder to ask questions surrounding folders and documents I'm not sure of to seek guidance from the group (I'll pop myself in items for discussion for each one as I come to them).

I will also be holding explanation/ info sessions at the end of each leg of this project, explaining the new systems which will be recorded and uploaded into the Getting Started folder for onboarding new members.

I would love any suggestions or feedback

Thanks Harley, this sounds interesting. I would need some more details/be shown what all this means as its a completely another language for me. Is this all linked to a wider piece of work (i.e. Invest in Us)? Is there an overall project proposal that we can consider? Maybe lots of questions at this point as its a different language, for now.

I understand most of what you're saying and look forward to having this all streamlined and tracked!

(I've also started following your lead and re-naming the "meetings and actions" folders as "0.1" in any meetings I'm at haha)

i am with you brotha - being a geek in audio land I use colour codes for all instruments/aspects of files in a track - I can open 15 year old songs and know exactly where everything is the moment I open it - so this is my jam and totally get why its numbers in this space - love your work

Thanks for checking in with us Harley. Personally, I'm not in any urgent need for any of this work to be done. However, I do appreciate a good tidy up and any work that helps members with their day-to-day work. Thank you
