Call for Application ERC StG Post-doctoral Fellowship & Research Assistant in the Social Sciences at the University of Strasbourg

The ERC Starting Grant WE-COOP project is currently inviting applications at the University of Strasbourg for:

• A/ a one-year Postdoctoral position in sociology (18 months, quantitative research profile)

• B/ a two-year Research Assistant position in social sciences renewable once (for a total of 48 months)

Combining sociology and social theory, the WE-COOP project seeks to renew approaches to labour from a feminist point of view by looking at women's experiences of work where they still have pockets of autonomy: in particular, worker cooperatives that operate on a democratic principle.

Successful candidates will be part of the SAGE laboratory (Sociétés, Acteurs, Gouvernement en Europe; UMR 7363) at the prestigious University of Strasbourg, renowned for the quality of its research and its international scope. An office space will be provided at the MISHA (Maison Interuniversitaire des Sciences de l'Homme d'Alsace) on the Esplanade campus situated in the city, with the possibility of working remotely some days of the week depending on personal circumstances. They will be part of a supportive team, committed to professional development and intellectual discovery, and will have the opportunity to advance their own research career as part of this prestigious international research project. They will benefit from additional dedicated funding for their research dissemination activities and participation in international scientific events.
