Raising the identity of the wider Brooklyn area
It was highlighted that the Brooklyn Village is often seen as the focal point of the area. As a result, suburbs such as Panorama Heights, Kowhai Park, Vogeltown, Mornington, and Kingston may be neglected. Some residents feel the activities in these areas could be enhanced.
Do you support the idea of doing more in these suburbs? What community activities would help enhance the vibrancy of the wider area?

That would be fantastic. Perhaps part of a re-vamped bowling club?

great! yes, this idea has come up a few times and I support it too. we have plans for a coffee machine at VBC, probably open in morning 8-10am ish plus Sat morning for brunch. Glad to know others would support this!

The Ridgeway School Food Fiesta last night was a fantastic event with a great turnout despite the days weather. Wouldn't it be great if there was a cafe or a bakery (like Gramercy in Berhampore) somewhere around the school (ideally in line-of-sight and a short walk from the school entrance). I'm sure that it would great patronage on school mornings and weekends.
