Co-Tech Interim Network Coordinating Proposal
The Proposal
Full proposal attached, vote will be added after the CoTech call today (27/11 16:00)
The Co-Tech funds are currently £3,638.99. We propose that £1400 + VAT (just under ½) is ring fenced for Richard (Agile) , Natasha (Outlandish), Chris Lowis (Go Free Range), Chris Croome (Webarchitects), and any other people who want to get involved, to carry out the tasks below before March 2025.
We will conduct the following activities:
-
Telephone all Co-Tech members and
make sure their details are up-to-date on the worker.coop Civi CRM instance
and on the CoTech Wiki
remove them from all the above and the CoTech website if they’re not interested in being a member anymore (of workers.coop and therefore CoTech)
Organise one general circle online meeting per month until March
Host an in-person co-tech gathering at SPACE4 in March
Establish a system for how we can continue these activities beyond March 2025. We expect that during this initial period we’ll be able to get more coops engaged with the network and can distribute some of these activities between coops who have interest and capacity in coordinating the network.
Propose a new way to fund CoTech activities. Are co-ops happy to contribute financially to both workers.coop and CoTech? And if not, do we need an alternative funding model for CoTech activities.

Autonomic are in favour of this. Seems like it will tide us over and increase engagement in the network. We should be in a much better position come March.
